Something transcending the differences and divisiveness of religion. The word is indicative of something not restricted to a narrow sectarian interpretation. It does not mean some theological concept of ‘Goodness’ doctrine. What it expresses is the realization of the true nature of a human being, the knowledge of its hidden potentialities and latent powers in their unfolding. A spiritual person is one aspiring to reach the super-human level through the development of his or her supersensory powers. Spirituality, therefore, implies a purposeful way of life balanced between sublime objectives related to things in the higher realms and exalted aims achievable through physical means.
